Having a child is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make, staring with the financial impact of the baby. Most people, at some point in life, will address their anxieties and start making preparations for a bundle of joy. They spend the last days before birth preparing of the baby’s arrival, and there are no problems until they go to the store where they can buy baby bedding. At this point people generally get overwhelmed and wonder: how in the world can this much baby bedding even exist? The parents try their hardest but never make a decision on a set of baby bedding.

It may take parents months to decide upon crib bedding. How can this be? Surely choosing baby bedding cannot be that hard of a task to conquer. Before they know it, the baby shower is upon them and the parents can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that the gifts will probably include all the baby bedding they need. As expected, the baby shower renders lots of bedding. But this creates a new difficulty.

It seems like everyone at the baby shower decided to buy baby bedding; every single person bought a least one item for the baby’s bed. You become overwhelmed by the mountain of comforters and variety of sheet sets you have received. The choice on which bedding to use for the new baby is often an agonizing one for parents.

When the baby comes home, somehow none of the baby bedding is convenient; Dad grabs the first set he can find, tossing aside all of the other gifts from the baby shower.

The moral of the story is that it just isn’t that hard to choose baby bedding. But after nine months of pregnancy, you will have a baby boy or girl, and that doesn’t change just because of your baby nursery themes. You will want to get a crib that will keep your baby warm and safe, but those are the most important things; once those needs are met, it’s time to move on. Relax as much as you can during your pregnancy because you’re going to need all the energy you can muster after the baby arrives.
