I hope you haven’t missed my message?  To take lessons to learn the piano is not easy.  It is even more tricky if you’re an adult beginner.  Make no mistake ; it truly does need a great deal of understanding, tough work, and practice.  I might even say that it may never be entirely mastered. 
 
If you are a musician who is always looking for to learn new things, then learning to play by ear is an appropriate challenge.  I hope you first read the learn piano with hear and play review before settling on a course to study.
